An independent, family run engineering office for infrastructure, public space, water management and mobility, working for governments and public partners in Flanders. It works together with Ontwerpbureau Pauwels, and both now share Feniks.

We mapped the work with a clickable prototype, a full map of the incoming and outgoing mail flows and user stories. Then we built Feniks on Awen, our own framework, connected it to Outlook, SharePoint, Venice and the Microsoft login, and migrated the data from the old system with a conversion we could run and check as often as needed before go live.

One central systemAbout the client
Ruddervoorde · Founded 2023
A construction materials lab founded by Brecht Van Hecke and Henri Osaer. Zirox analyses asbestos samples and carries out air measurements, including with electron microscopy (SEM), for contractors, asbestos experts, engineering firms and public authorities. The lab is recognised by FOD WASO and accredited by BELAC.

We first mapped out the complete data model and built one central platform on it: a back office, portals for staff and clients, a driver app and a browser extension. Zirox has one fixed contact person with us and can talk to us at any time, so we move fast on urgent matters or new government requirements.

A collaboration platform for commercial HVAC projects in Flanders. Belynked brings engineering firms, installers and suppliers together in one shared structure around the bill of quantities, with AI product matching. Encima co-founded Belynked.

Encima co-founded Belynked and builds the technology: the platform on Awen, our own framework, and the AI that matches the bill of quantities, the specifications and the technical data sheets. By choosing deliberately how and when we use AI, we kept the cost of that matching under control and divided it by four. Our CEO explained the approach in the weekend edition of De Tijd in July 2026.
